India's successful Prime Minister and world leader Narendra Damodardas Modi were born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar Mehsana Gujarat, his father's name was Damodardas Mulchanddas Modi. And his mother's name was Heeraben Damodardas Modi. He is the 14th Prime Minister of the country, who led the Bharatiya Janata Party to impressive victories in 2014 and again in 2019.  Before this, he had been the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Mr. Modi is the first person born in independent India to hold the post of Prime Minister of India. He has always appeared before the public as a Sun leader. An interesting fact about Mr. Modi is that he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time as an MLA.  Similarly, he became the Prime Minister of India for the first time directly as a Member of Parliament.  In 2014, he contested the parliamentary elections from Varanasi for the first time 2014 and Modi is credited for the majority victory of the BJP and this happened for the first time since 1984.  Modi was born in Vadnagar to a Gujarati family, as a child he helped his father sell tea and later ran his own tea stall.  Modi came in contact with the RSS at the age of 8 and from here began a long association with the organization.  He joined BJP in the year 1985.  After a long stint with the RSS, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and then his political journey gained momentum when he was elected the Chief Minister of Gujarat.  Mr. Modi did his post-graduate education at Gujarat University.  He has always been contributing as a social worker. One who donates wealth to the poor. Most of his wealth is spent on charity. And I believe that he will become the prime minister for the third time in 2024.

 According to Hindu tradition, Modi's marriage was arranged by his parents when he was a child.  He was engaged to Jasodben Modi at the age of 13, marrying her when she was 18.  They spent two years together.  Reportedly, he was never married and kept it a secret otherwise, he could not have become a 'Publicist' (preacher) in the pure Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.  Modi kept his marriage a secret for most of his career.  He accepted his wife for the first time when he filed his nomination for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.  Modi maintained a close relationship with his mother Heeraben. Now she died in 2023. Modi Ji loved his mother more. He always used to go to his hometown to meet his mother.  When Modi was childhood, he came in contact with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).  In 1970, at the age of 20, he was so influenced by the RSS that he became a full-fledged RSS Publicist, and in 1971, Modi formally joined the RSS. RSS is a Hinduism organization in India. It's a very powerful organization in Hinduism.

 2019:-  On 30 May, Narendra Modi again took over as the Prime Minister and expanded the cabinet on 31 May.  Apart from the PMO, keep the Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Personal, Public Grievances and Pension, Department of Space, and all those ministries with themselves, which were not allotted to any other minister.

 2019:-  On May 23, Narendra Modi was once again elected MP from Varanasi.  He defeated Congress leader Ajay Rai in the Varanasi seat in the Lok Sabha elections.  With this victory, he was re-elected as the Prime Minister of India. I hope to come in 2024, then for the third time.

 2014:- Narendra Modi was elected as the 14th and 2nd time repeat Prime Minister of India. Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014.  He became the first prime minister born after India's independence from the British Empire.

 2012:-   Modi was re-elected from Mani Nagar.  This time he defeated Bhatt Shweta Sanjeev by 34097 votes.  He again took oath as Chief Minister for the fourth term.  He later resigned from the assembly in 2014.

2007:-   On 23 December 2007, Modi's third term as Chief Minister began and ended on 20 December 2012.  This time again he won from Mani Nagar.  He defeated Dinsha Patel of INC.

 2002:-  In 2002, he contested from Mani Nagar and registered a landslide victory.  He defeated Ojha Yatinbhai Narendra Kumar of INC by 38256 votes.  He was also elected for a second term as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

 2001:-  Keshubhai Patel's health deteriorated and the BJP lost some state assembly seats in the by-elections.  The national leadership of the BJP handed over the command of the Chief Minister of Gujarat to Modi in place of Patel.  On 7 October 2001, Modi was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.  On 24 February 2002, he won the by-election in Rajkot - 2nd constituency.  He defeated Ashwin Mehta of INC by 14,728 votes.  This was his first and very short term.

 1995:-  He was elected National Secretary of BJP and moved to New Delhi.  He led the election campaigns of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.  Modi was promoted as the General Secretary (Organization) of the BJP in 1996.

 1990:-  Modi helped organize LK Advani's Ram Rath Yatra in 1990 and Murli Manohar Joshi's Ekta Yatra in 1991.

 1987:-  Modi was elected as the Organizing Secretary of the Gujarat unit of the BJP.

1986:-  After LK Advani, Modi became the President of the BJP.  At that time the RSS decided to place its members in important positions within the BJP.

 1985:-  Modi was handed over to the BJP by the RSS.  Later in 1987, Modi helped organize the BJP's campaign in the Ahmedabad municipal elections, which the BJP won.

 1979:-  In 1979, he became an RSS  Publicist.  Joined RSS activities in the areas of Surat and Vadodara.  He went to Delhi to work for the RSS.  where he was hired to research and write the RSS's version of the history of the Emergency.

 1978:-  He became a divisional Publicist of RSS.  He actively participated in the programs of the Sangh held in Surat and Vadodara.

 1975:-   Narendra Modi was appointed as the General Secretary of the "Gujarat Lok Sangh Samiti" by the RSS.  During the Emergency, Modi was forced to go underground to avoid arrest.  He was involved in the printing of pamphlets opposing the government.

 According to me, Modi proved to be the best Chief Minister in a nationwide survey.  Appeared on the cover page of the Asian edition of Time magazine.  Elected Indian of the Year by News Network in 2014.  He was one on Time magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2014, 2015, and 2017.  In 2014 and 2016, Modi received the title of 'Person of the Year'. Modi is the most influential person of the year in the Time Magazine Readers' Poll.

Time Magazine considered him the 15th most powerful person in the world in the year 2014.  He was ranked the 9th most powerful person in the world in 2015, 2016, and 2018.  In 2015, Modi was ranked fifth in Fortune magazine's first annual list of the "World's Greatest Leaders". During his premiership, India rose to 100th place in the 2018 World Bank Doing Business rankings.
